Class of Heroes II is a charming take on the Wizardry-style dungeon crawl games, but with a twist – all the party members are drawn from a pool of newly enrolled students at a Sword and Sorcery School.
The game features 10 classes to choose from: Novice, Fighter, Swordsman, Ranger, Monk, Ninja, Sorcerer, Puppeteer, Idol, and one Mystery Class. Once a team is created, quests are offered and the party can choose their adventure path, unlocking ever more distant and dangerous areas to conquer as they grow in power and confidence. Monster parties can be more than one level deep in a single combat episode, leading to epic encounters of up to 12 or more monsters at a time, where managing a party’s ranged and melee skills can be the difference between victorious life and an ignominious death.
No dungeon crawler would be complete without an occasional boss, and Class of Heroes II doesn’t disappoint here, either, with nail-biting super-encounters littered on the path between your party and ultimate victory.
Class of Heroes II will be releasing on the PlayStation Network later this fall. It will be playable on PSP and PS Vita formats. Stay tuned for more information!

This is fantastic. Really looking forward to this. Wizardry, The Bard’s Tale…many people still love these style of games. I will spread the word!

Hope Totomono2 still has its Jp. voices or some of the extreme fans may resort to hack the undubbed Totomono2… Still supporting the series by fanarts!
I’d given up all hope of seeing this game translated when I heard Atlus dropped the series, but hearing about you guys picking it up was an extremely pleasant surprise. Shame about the Kickstarter, but I don’t doubt that this will be a great game even without massive amounts of funding. Day 1 purchase here, and hopefully localizing the rest of the CoH games goes swimmingly
Is the release of Class Of Heroes 2 here yet? You said ‘this fall’, and it is definitely autumn here: rain, wind, cold, trees turning yellow/red/brown. So how much longer do we have to wait?
*impatient and excited*
Just thought I’d mention that this is an ugly as hell font/logo for the game, especially when it has an image backdrop as per the start/end of the trailer. I’m really hoping that this is just a placeholder, and you’re going to have something more in line with the original Class of Heroes or Japanese version logos. I seriously think that logo, being one of the first things a potential buyer will see, will lose you sales if you keep it. Just look at those giant S‘s blarg…
Terrible first impressions aside, planning to buy this on Day 1. Someone comment here when it’s released so I get reminded by the notification, k? ♥
Well, toto-mono in Spain means…. uh… cute pussy. So i’ll name it Class of Heroes.
BTW, Thank you MonkeyPaw Games for bringing us this awesome games
Can wait I wonder when its coming out maybe this month or next…cant wait any longer since I playing the first one
Would the school’s name still be Crostini? (according to my Japanese Pixiv.net pals) or got changed?
Can’t wait for this release! Any new info on a firm date?
so excited for this, been checking monkeypaw games twitter everyday for a release
Fall has come and gone. At least give us a new release date….
I don’t mind if they take longer to release as long as the game is well polished and comes out. It’s too bad I can’t pre-order it on PSN.
uh just a quick question, but wondering if there’s a reason erdgeist was renamed into gnome?
“checking monkeypaw games twitter everyday for a release ”
same here, anyone got any news?
It wasn’t renamed Erdgeist, in Japanese it’s called Gnome. “Erdgeist” is a rename of Gnome.
… Although I do agree they should have used the Class of Heroes 1 names, but there may have been legal issues making that impossible.
this is never going to get released is it :/
@Zatheir: CoH1 was the renaming; Monkeypaw/Gaijinworks is using the original Japanese names for the races for CoH2 (pretty sure)
Okay, just checked the new website, and while I still think the logo font is pretty ugly, the thick black border does help it a lot. The inner border of the o in Heroes looks really thin compared to the rest though.
In matters unrelated to typography (which I normally don’t even care about) it’s a bit odd seeing Erdgeist change to the far more commonly used Gnome, while Halfling is being changed to seemingly invented Khulaz?
Really waiting for this to be released. It’s kind of disturbing that it’s already winter and I don’t see any release yet. Am I missing something?
We’re using the race names the original creators chose, not the ones
Atlus inserted in their translation. If you look at the promotional
videos for Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono and Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono 2
(the Japanese name for the first and second games) on youtube, you’ll
see that in both Japanese game videos Gnome and Khulaz are used. Atlus
decided to go their own way for the release of Class of Heroes 1 and use
Erdgeist and Hafling instead for whatever reason, but that is not the
more “accurate” version. Our release is using the names from the
Japanese creators (spelling issues corrected, of course) and returning
it to what was intended.
Sorry for any delay but we think you’ll appreciate why it has taken so long. We will make a release announcement soon. Thanks for your patience!
Oh, so was there more of a reason than “halp, Tomba issues!” then?
Also now I’m wondering why Atlus would simplify Khulaz to Halfling, but then change the frequently seen Gnome to far more obscure but still synonymous Erdgeist.
Khulaz is still pretty weird, even if it’s more accurate though…
Any chance of releasing this on the Asian PSN as well?
Hmmm… How’s the school name of the 2nd game? According to my Japanese Pixiv friends, the school’s name is “Crostini”…
Forgot to add:
I’ve read about in the original COH2, alchemy was kinda nerfed, and some even said that the Gnome Alchemists are rendered nearly useless, due to price changes…
Glad to hear the game is still set for a release! As said before, really looking forward to playing COH2
